What If The Election Was Held Today???

in Rudy Giuiliani

This is a question that I ask myself from time to time. Of course, there are names that are being tossed around as possible hopefuls (and not-so-hopefuls) as candidates.  There are the laughable (Sarah Palin, Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, Rush Limbaugh and Mike Huckabee….come on, with a last name like that who’s going to take him seriously).  Some even stronger candidates who also ran in 2008 or seem like more suitable choices like Hilary Clinton, Fred Thompson, Ron Paul, Rudy Giuiliani or even our present Commander-In-Chief,  President Barack Obama.  It all depends on how his approval rating is at the time.  There are some lesser known names like Bobby Jindal and Charlie Crist then newscasters like Sean Hannity and Bill O’ Reilly have been mentioned as possible contenders.

There is awhile yet.  Obama is only about eight months into his first term and there is lots of work to still be done.

So many candidates, so little time-huh.

The 2012 Presidential Election is fast approaching

The White House

The GOP race is now a field of 4 with only Romney, Gingrich, Paul, & Santorum still standing. Who will be the next candidate to exit the race & who will emerge as the eminent GOP nominee?

Just making a notice that I do stand by our current president. We voted for him, so therefore we have a responisbility to either support him or step aside. I have a feeling he will turn out to be either a presidential hero or a presidential failure. I still have the hope for obama. History will tell us what happens and I’m excited to see.

However, I don’t agree that those conservatives you mentioned are 100% crap-faces. As a republican myself I actually thought that the republicans just chose the wrong candidate. People like Mitt Romney would have been more qualified and reasonable. The only reason people didn’t vote him in was because of his religion! Seeing things like that is Bull-Crap.
I do laugh at Sarah Palin though. There is no way she could have been qualified to lead a country.

Now when liberals start talking about people like Rush-Limbogh, now that is just GROSS. Way too far to the right. I think there needs to be a fine balance between conservative and liberalism. Any far to one side will mess up the system.

Too much government=Communism
Too much non-government=Anarchy

We need a leader that can make a fine balance in all things.

Obama is going to have trouble come 2012 because of his inablility to keep all of his promisses he made during the campaign. His other problem is his truthfulness such as him saying he never said he was for a single payer system even tough there is audio of him saying he was a single payer system. Former Governor Tim Pawlenty looks to be a strong candidate to challenge Obama. Pawlenty ws able to balance the Minnesota budget and he is very popular. RNC head, Michael Steele could be a sleeper pick.
