What’s with the National Tea party?

I just  want to give the Tea Baggers a thousand lashes with a wet Lipton tea bag.

The National Tea party just spung up all of a sudden and they do is seem to hate on everyone.   The only purpose I seem to think they exist for it to protest the policies of the Obama administration and then some.  For a time, Sarah Palin was their golden girl.  It seems they have penned their own Declaration of Independence and tagged themselves an actual politcal party.  They strike me as neo-conservative.  These people also strike me as scary, too radical.  Shit, they are even having national conventions and endorsing political candidates. I heard they have thrown their support behind Ron Paul, the former presidential candidate from ‘08.  This guy didn’t even make it past the primaries.

This is an excerpt from one of this websites:

“The citizens of the United States of America needed a place where Fiscal Consciousness could be discussed, requested and in fact, demanded of our legislators.”

They charge ten dollars to join their movement and back Arizona governor, Jan Brewer on her immigration bill.  Makes me want to run out and join-not!

The 2012 Presidential Election is fast approaching

The White House

The GOP race is now a field of 4 with only Romney, Gingrich, Paul, & Santorum still standing. Who will be the next candidate to exit the race & who will emerge as the eminent GOP nominee?

Couldn’t have been much conviction in the writing of this article. Otherwise, I’m sure the author would be making great strides in defending her position.

Typical liberal hyperbole. All talk and no substance.

Come on, Libs. Say something!!! Surely you’ve got some kind of retort!!!

Cat got your tongue? What’s been said in response doesn’t fit your talking points? No defense against good, ol’ common sense?

Say something – even if it’s wrong!!!!!!!!!!

You say this of the Tea Party – “The only purpose I seem to think they exist for it to protest the policies of the Obama administration and then some…”

Actually, the tea party roots can be found in the protests against unrestrained gov’t spending which started under G. W. Bush. The 1st stimulus (TARP) was actually the catalyst. There was simply no organization of ideas until the 2nd stimulus was passed under Obama – shortly after a record-breaking budget was signed. Granted the budget was legislation that originated under Bush, but Obama could have made a bold statement (and garnered a lot of support) had he refused to sign it and sent it back to Congress with an order to, “Unload the pork!!!”, in keeping with his campaign promise.

As for the Tea Party writing a new Declaration of Independence? That is ludicrous at best. The original can’t be beat. It would do us all some good to write it out by hand and say each word as we write it. We need to be reminded from time to time exactly why the Founding Fathers found it necessary to separate from England.

And since when is Fiscal Consciousness such a bad thing?

No, my friend, this country has a very real enemy. It is those (Republican or Democrat) who are blinded by partisanship that they can’t see and fail to realize the dangers inherent with the current crop of politicians, and this administration in particular.

BB,

“I just want to give the Tea Baggers a thousand lashes with a wet Lipton tea bag.” Violence is the last resort of the desperate.

And…

“These people also strike me as scary, too radical.” At least they don’t trespass on peoples private property to protest and frighten children like the SEIU.

Don’t be mad at the tea-party for exposing the truth BB. Be mad at your party for duping you like SO many others.

BB,

If I didn’t know you I would think, “Now that’s brilliant satire!”.

As I do, I am actually saddened to see another American drowned in the current of thoughtlessness. Political insight based on feelings and catch phases.

If I were to attempt to persuade you towards individual rights and responsabilities, the task could not be started prior to a “cult de-programming”. I am not trying to hurl insults, I mean it. The true believers in a Nanny State have sold thier reasoning to the tyrants who lead them in exchange for promises of utopian equality thru taxation of achievers and world peace through appeasement.

All I can say at this point, resist the current of resentments on which the tyrants have fooled you. Say to yourself, Damn it, I’m self reliant, I’m able to decide things for myself, I do not need to have those I disagree with controlled! BB, walk toward the light of freedom. The only “Change you can believe in” is the change you make within yourself, government should only be a tool of the people, not the other way around.
