U.N. Opposes Sexual Harassment, Unless It Happens Within the U.N.

in Current Events,United Nations

The hypocrisy of the United Nations continues. While this corrupt entity constantly parades its smaller units like UNIFEM (United Nations Development Fund for Women), they apparently think that protecting and promoting women’s rights should be accepted and put into practice by you and me, but not by them. They claim to object to sexual harassment unless it involves their own employees. But this really shouldn’t surprise anyone except for those who have actually been fooled into thinking that the purpose of the United Nations is to…well…unite the nations and offer equality to all human beings.

The reality, however, is quite different. Besides the fact that it is well known that there have been forced abortions in China for a long time (Time Magazine article) – demonstrating that the Chinese, with the assistance of the U.N., are more concerned with population control than they are about women’s rights – it has now been discovered that there have been female United Nations workers who have undergone sexual harassment only to see the alleged perpetrators go unpunished in both a business and legal setting. As a matter of fact, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on March 2, 2010 that the United Nations is absolutely immune from such a lawsuit, and that its former employees also have immunity.

This is typical of a Body which houses such scandalous organizations as WHO (World Health Organization) and UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund), which uses trick or treat monies to fund things like Palestinian Summer Camps that train kids to be Homicide Bombers. It has also written materials praising the oppressive north Korean regime. In short your pennies are being used to support terror and hatred.

Does this leave any room for shock that these alleged sexual harassers (and they will forever be “alleged”) within the United Nations would not only be accused of the same thing that their beloved Boss claims to condemn, but would also find a “pass” on their desk that grants them total immunity from that very Employer? This, folks, is the same United Nations that we have all been taught to respect and admire since we were children. Yet, it is the United Nations that was ultimately created for our nation’s demise. Woodrow Wilson initially tried to create the League of Nations in the midst of the settling dust of WWI. Fortunately, we had a wise Congress who understood that the L of N was not being planned for our benefit. After WWII when the globe had again been ravaged by war and people everywhere were in the mood to never have another one, a second attempt was made at a League of Nations type of organization except that, this time, the title was the United Nations. And this time, its formation was successful.

These “people” are definitely well-rehearsed at inappropriateness. They constantly touch us in ways they shouldn’t but, not unlike an intra-family domestic abuse case, we just smile and think because it’s our uncle or our cousin and they tell us that we had better not say anything, that it must be our problem and silent acceptance is the only choice. Yet the U.N. are an entity who never sleep. They are constantly on the prowl for the purpose of catching us off guard so that they can subversively erode our sovereignty.

So far they’ve succeeded to a large degree. But the fight isn’t over.

Anon,

I spoke out of frustration, and therefore without explaination.

You are correct in pointing out an exaggerated (unintentional) number for operational budget. I was correct in the real number and I will explain why after I give you your well deserved pound of flesh.

The actual operational “dues” for operating the UN: The US pays a whopping 30%, and has been trying for years to have it reduced to 25%, a move consistantly blocked. My reference is: http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/49141.pdf

I still say my 60% number is correct and here is why. Operational overhead is one thing, actual UN spending on various spending projects dwarfs that. I could give endless example, but surfice it to say, whenever you see the little blue helments, you’ll find the US paying the lions share.
Remember the Croatia or Baltics or any Big Ticket mission, even when the US votes against an action, it is our might that pays for most activity.

“………… The US House of Representatives passes by a vote of 316-100, a $15.3 billion foreign aid package that includes $75 million for UN peacekeeping operations……….According to a U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) report, titled “UN Peace Keeping: Status Of Operations And U.S. Interests In Supporting Them” (GAO/NSIAD-97-56), these eight operations have cost about $6 billion (over one-third) of the $17 billion the UN has spent on “peace keeping” since 1948. The United States pays for approximately 25 percent of the UN’s budget. This GAO report says that for 1996 the U.S. share of the estimated cost of these eight operations was about $148 million.

Not to be overly detailed, we both are correct on this issue.

“swindle the US out of 60% of it’s operating budget”?
Byron Swain, the UN may be corrupt but wouldn’t you like to live in the real world or are you happy getting pissed at your own fantasies?

Erik,

On the money as usual, and giving me a chance to vent. I’ve been ranting quite a bit lately, must be male menopause. I’ll get a hormone shot and mellow out soon I’m sure.

This has been a thorn in my side since I was old enough to understand the farce. Like the sales clerk who gets the title Corporate Products Consultant, with no pay raise or authority, they are often too unimportant to invest a lot of cerebral mass.

What they do have however is just enough power to swindle the US out of 60% of it’s operating budget, do the occasional land grab and get international attention, more due to the amount of diverse culture, location and expensive operating budget than any political movement.

Considering the USA, Russia, China, France or England can anyone veto any legislation and they never agree, movement is whimsical or null.
The “dignitaries‘” of represented countries are famous for running up bills on US companies and then skipping out, untouchable, and of course there’s diplomatic immunity for ANY crime committed from parking to murder (both have been seen and suppressed) and everything in between.

Like our own US Congress, they exempt themselves from just about any law they pass that could come back to bite them. The waste and anti-American bias are so large, Reagan withheld funding, and there was some question about continuation.

A bunch of arrogant bastards who allow 3rd world dictators, thugs and terrorist to stand front and center and call us Devils and evil murderers to the delight of the vast majority.

I say withdraw our funding, and send the whiny little bitches across the pond to Europe where being a doormat to those who scare them is acceptable.
