Now Bracing for Sticks & Stones

by A.B. Arkawy March 25, 2010

With all those hateful slurs hurled at congressmen turning into violent threats, we’ve been waiting for days for a Republican response. Today we got several. And they were all tepid at best. Majority Leader John Boehner called threats of violence “unacceptable,” but he understands the “anger and frustration.” Ditto for John McCain who echoed the [...]

Sarah Has Come Out of the Neo-Con Closet

by Erik the Red February 15, 2010
Sarah Palin

On December 20th, I wrote an article on this site with terrific, yet reserved enthusiasm about the possibility of Sarah Palin running for President in 2012. Well, after less than two months, I am officially backpedaling and have declared the Alaska Governess an official Neo-Con after all. I suppose I am guilty of having fallen [...]

At Least We Know Who WON’T Be President In 2012: Sarah Palin

by FloridaBlogger February 14, 2010
Sarah Palin

After last week’s most recent embarrassments at both the Tea Party Convention and on Fox News it appears that Sarah Palin has reinforced the perception that she is profoundly unqualified to be President of the United States. At the Tea Party Convention she was seen by a national television audience reading scribbled notes from the [...]

Sarah Palin- What’s Next?

by Matt Brady January 26, 2010
Sarah Palin

Love her or hate her Sarah Palin is always in the forefront of the news and gossip. From a humble Governor of Alaska, Palin was propelled to national fame upon being selected as Senator McCain’s running mate in the 2008 Presidential election. Almost as soon as she was introduced the liberal media machines were working [...]

Will Sarah Palin be a factor in 2010?

by dfunzy January 12, 2010
Sarah Palin

Will Sarah Palin be a factor in 2010? Will she or won’t she? Palin has joined Huckabee at Fox News — cashing in on their fame. Rumor is that she left Alaska to come south to cash in, and she has been cashing in big time. Huckabee has already signaled that he may not make [...]

Obama in 2012! With help from his friends?

by dfunzy December 20, 2009

President Obama’s support for a troop build up in Afghanistan and for the Senate health reform bill has eroded his support among his strongest 2008 supporters. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, former Governor and Democratic Party Chairman, Howard Dean, leaders at MoveOn.org, the AFL-CIO, and millions of others have made [...]

Palin Nation

by B. Robert Kennedy November 19, 2009

Going Rogue is bound to be the stocking stuffer du jour this Christmas, both as a lame satirical gift and a seriously misguided present. For the vast majority of Americans, “Sarah Palin” (no matter what Fox News is trying to make you believe) can be the punchline to any number of jokes that I will [...]

Why are they afraid of Sarah Palin?

by Consti Tution November 19, 2009
Thumbnail image for Why are they afraid of Sarah Palin?

Consti here perusing through my back issues of Sports Illustrated swim suit editions in the bunker bathroom. (It’s a guy thing.) Now knowing the Buddhist teachings that “reality is perception” I have to ask myself why the liberals are so rabid about Sarah Palin. Why does the mere mention of her name elicit signs of BDS syndrome in them? The bunker medical staff is working on that now, updates to follow.

Political Self-Satire

by B. Robert Kennedy November 6, 2009

Since wing nuts are currently driving mainstream political discourse, it is worth taking a moment to reflect on the art of wing-nutery. Performance art has never been so popular, and so powerful in American politics. The hoi polloi is in a very cynical state and in order for those with power to relate with such [...]

Why Go Half Way?

by jackturk August 13, 2009

Shocking news from the New Hampshire stop on President Obama’s “Death Panel Live” tour. It seems the little girl from Malden, MA who asked that question about “mean signs” may not have been a totally random selection! Well, please. Spare me the feigned outrage.  Politicians taking planted questions in town hall events has long been [...]
