This is the story of Greg Baer and his family. Now Baer is the deputy general counsel for corporate law at Bank of America. He’s also lifelong Democrat who worked for the Clinton Treasury Department. Last Sunday Greg was watching his 12 year old son’s baseball game. It was like any quiet suburban Sunday. It wasn’t until Greg received a phone call from his 14 year old son who was at home that he realized what was about to happen.
Upon arriving home with his 12 year old son in the car Greg found that two D.C. police officers had escorted 14 busses of SEIU members to his home to protest. 500 people crowded his property right up to his front door while his 14 year old son was inside hiding in the bathroom. Local authorities were called by a neighbor since D.C. cops didn’t have jurisdiction. They were just an escort detail. These 500 SEIU thugs who were protesting on private property without a permit from the city only left after receiving a citation for protesting while standing still. A crime in that little burg apparently and probably the only crime that day. Mind you no one was arrested for trespassing, destruction of property, property damage, holding a hostage, or any other violation of the several laws they had broken. Notice in the video below the FRONT DOOR OF THIS MANS HOME with SEIU thugs standing on his front stoop! Notice how all she screams about is “the bank!” Not her personal responsibility for the loan.

This is “the Chicago way” that Obama who’s “lifelong work with the SEIU” (in his words) works. “That’s a mighty pretty daughter you got there mister. Be a shame if anything happens to her” – The Untouchables.
Now ask yourself why would these protestors not picket and protest at Baer’s office downtown? Why would these Union thugs trespass on his property to protest his being a lawyer for Bank of America? Trapping his 14 year old son in the house and forcing this mental trauma on his children. (Won’t some compassionate progressive liberal PLEASE think of the children?!!) And a lifelong Democrat, former Clinton Treasury worker no less! If you said fear and intimidation move to the head of the class. Imagine the press coverage this would get if it was the tea-party that acted as reprehensible as these people. Or better yet 500 redneck cowboys in Arizona showing up to protest on an Illegal aliens lawn!! The imaginary racial slurs towards a senator got more page time than this story will! The neighbor who reported the protest to the local police is now being attacked by the SEIU as well for reporting the crime!
So, let’s sum this up: A caravan of SEIU buses receive a Metropolitan (D.C.) Police Department escort to a private home in Maryland where the protesters, from all appearances, violate Montgomery County law by engaging in a stationary protest, destroy property, trespass, and create a civil disturbance. The Montgomery County police were not informed by their cross-jurisdictional colleagues of the impending, unusually large protest pending in their jurisdiction. All the while NO ONE IS ARRESSTED FOR TRESSPASSING! What if the crowd had turned and set fire to the dwelling? Would the D.C. cops even be able to stop it?

While professors at a California University can call for the downfall of the U.S. government over illegal immigration and not be prosecuted average citizens are terrorized on their property by Union thugs. Where the Black Panthers can be found guilty of voter intimidation and the DOJ drop the charges. Normal U.S. citizens are attacked by SEIU thugs on THEIR OWN PROPERTY! Their families terrorized and their property destroyed. IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!! There was a progressive liberal senator who once famously claimed our soldiers in Iraq were “Terrorizing women and children in the night.” Well the SEIU must be braver than the Marines since the SEIU DOES THE SAME IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! (No disrespect to our soldiers serving and sacrificing your lives so these knuckle draggers have the freedom to do this despicable act. HU-RA!)
Now let me be as crystal clear on this issue as possible. I am not saying that ALL UNION members are Chicago Thugs. That is not true. But by not standing up to your Union leaders and brothers you are condoning these actions. By not telling your fellow members that terrorizing citizens and children is wrong you are just as culpable as they are. And no amount of justification can rationalize these terrorist actions. For that is what they are designed to do, terrorize and intimidate.
Several commenters’ on this site and in e-mails I get try to diminish my right to speak based upon the fact that I don’t write under my real name. Mr. No Name that’s me. These mind you are the same people, who have by their own comments, condoned violence and public humiliation of anyone who does not agree with them. After seeing how the SEIU doesn’t respect the rights of private citizens on their own property I’m good with being Mr. No Name. I’d rather not write under my own name than shoot protestors from my front porch with a BB gun. As amusing as that might sound right now.

While these jack booted purple shirted thugs went on to protest at another CEO’s home the same day. Greg Baer was left to clean up the mess both on his lawn, and in his children’s hearts. The Nazi’s did this too as they drove the Jews out of Germany.
The only difference was their shirts were brown and the chanted: Juden ist verboten!

New York CWA Local Dissenters Victimized by Union Terror; File Complaint

Email to friendPrinter-friendlyAnyone who believes labor unions have forsaken menace as a tool to be used against internal dissent hasn’t hung around Communications Workers of America Local 1101 lately. A civil complaint filed in Brooklyn, N.Y. federal court against the Staten Island-based union this past February provides apparently damning evidence that the labor organization is run by thugs and thieves. Salvatore DiStefano and Sebastian Taravella, union members and longtime heavy equipment operators for Verizon, allege they were continuously subject to harassment and violence after reporting an illegal union time-padding scheme to the Verizon security team. The pair is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
According to the complaint, DiStefano, an employee of Verizon’s Staten Island Garage, in the summer of 2007 was in the presence of a first-level union supervisor, Bob Rios, who told crew members that if they performed three “fiber to premises” jobs in a given day, they could falsely put in for a full day’s pay regardless of how early they finished. DiStefano openly refused to participate in this scam. He then voiced his disapproval to fellow union members. Taravella, also a garage employee, expressed the same view. In May 2008, the pair went to Verizon’s corporate security staff, informing them of the scheme. Corporate security, however, did not keep the resulting report confidential. Big mistake.
Outsiders might have seen DiStefano and Taravella as whistle-blowers; CWA Local 1101 saw them as rats. The union hierarchy proceeded to subject the pair to unrelenting abuse. Bosses brought them up on phony charges of “harassment” and “discrimination” against fellow members. As punishment, during or about November 2008 DiStefano and Taravella were terminated from employment at the Staten Island Garage and relocated to other garages, demoted in rank, and given “final warnings.” When the pair complained to union officials Pat Lascala and Richard Meltz, they allegedly were told, “You guys did it to yourself.” In March 2009, shop steward Manny Rincon allegedly put a dead rat in Taravella’s locker. A month later, union member Chris Tremble called DiStefano a “rat” while hitting his face and head, and leaving him with two herniated disks. DiStefano complained about the incident to union officials, who promptly accused him of “starting a fight.” DiStefano eventually was terminated in July 2009. In October 2009, a union member, Joe Sedita, threatened Taravella with death for allegedly getting a fellow employee fired. All the abuse took its toll. Taravella and DiStefano since have been undergoing counseling.
Union officials not only took no action against acts of wrongdoing, they openly encouraged them. In November 2008, the aforementioned Richard Meltz allegedly told members to “do whatever you want with those two guys.” And at an August 2009 garage meeting, two local vice presidents, Joe Macaleer and Mike Luzzi, told rank and file that Verizon was “having a lot of problems right now ‘due to a couple of troublemakers’” and that “We have to learn that we can’t call corporate security because we don’t want those people getting involved in our business.” Macaleer allegedly stated: “I don’t want nobody in this room to call corporate security any more. [And] I don’t care if somebody come to work with a gun saying they’re going to shoot people, you don’t say anything…we have a lot of problems here due to the fact there are ‘spies in the room.’” He then added, looking directly at the plaintiffs, “You know who you are.” Finally, the complaint alleges that Macaleer told members, “(W)e have to deal with these spies on a personal level, like take them outside of the yard, off the company property and off company time and take care of them, because we can’t be ratting each other out.”
These allegations carry more than a ring of truth. It is the nature of any racket to protect participants by creating a wall of silence and exacting vengeance upon those in their ranks violating it. Some 40 years ago New York City cops operated in this manner, inadvertently supplying the raw material for such movies as “Serpico” and “American Gangster.” All evidence strongly suggests that Communications Workers Local 1101 leaders operated an illegal featherbedding ring. That one or more Verizon employees may have taken part can’t be ruled out either. DiStefano and Taravella’s only crime was standing tall in the face of corruption and intimidation. Their lawsuit hopefully will yield a measure of justice for themselves and integrity for unions everywhere.

A Democratic senator is introducing legislation for a bailout of troubled union pension funds. If passed, the bill could put another $165 billion in liabilities on the shoulders of American taxpayers.
The bill, which would put the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation behind struggling pensions for union workers, is being introduced by Senator Bob Casey, (D-Pa.), who says it will save jobs and help people.
As FOX Business Network’s Gerri Willis reported Monday, these pensions are in bad shape; as of 2006, well before the market dropped and recession began, only 6% of these funds were doing well.
Although right now taxpayers could possibly be on the hook for $165 billion, the liability could essentially be unlimited because these pensions have to be paid out until the workers die.
It’s hard to say at the moment what the chances are that the bill will pass. A hearing is scheduled Thursday, which will give the public a sense of where political leaders sit on the topic, said Willis.
Just last week President Obama said there would be no more bailouts.

I do not major on straining knats, but one point of repeated comment is too relevant to desuade comment on what some may consider picayune.
My good friend, you really must see that the current tyranny is not a result of “the right and left”. It is certainly the result of the right professing Constitutional beliefs, while behaving like big government liberals, and the left professing care for the poor whilst behaving like the power hungry tyrants they are being exposed to be.
You repeatedly (albeit lightly) poke the religous right (Judea-Christian) with a stick of accusation, as if all religions were the same, teams within the same sport.
Remember Silver, the Constitutional “secular” government we both seek to save was created by the “religious right”. True Constitutionalist Judea-Christian believers have most always sought to restrict government power, NOT expand it.
The point of view you maintain is “of course” not without merit, I can think of dozens of examples to bolster your view. However, on balance, in the fullest view of both history and current events of our great country, the Judea-Christian presence has been a blessing, as opposed to the secular mindset which I believe has been populated and controlled as a religion by the very forces we both fight against.

There is no justification for these actions. Especially when they have tried SO HARD to trump up the same kind of accusations on the tea party. It’s a little hard to call old ladies and vet’s terrorists while praising the same tactics by the unions. Just as it is hard to use a ICE officer’s doing his duty as an example of racisms in the Arizona immigration law.
The actions of this administration and it’s cronies in congress is making it difficult for ANYONE in the party with a sense of decency to vocally support it. I’ve noticed too a lack of vociferous Obama support on here and other sites. It’s as if the moderate (read reasonable) democrats are hiding under the rocks. Take the militia members in Michigan (?) who were just recently released on bond because the government didn’t have a real case against them. Add to that the DHS worrying more about “domestic” terrorism (read anti-government citizens) than it does an immigrant who over stayed his Visa and tried to blow up times square! OR the immigrant who was deported and returned to RAPE 9 times! No animal man nor beast is more dangerous than when back into a corner like this administration. And like the population is starting to.
Just recently Obama went in front of West Point grads talking about the internationalism of the U.S. A sort of “Thanks for going to war boys but we are going to give the keys to the other guys and let them drive for a while.” Can you say appeasement? Can you say Carter/squared?
I didn’t write the article to scare anyone. “Fear profits a man nothing.” But this is something that needs to be repeated and often. It should spur you into action not a coma. Pass it along make it heard. They may be able to shut down radios, T.V. and the internet. But there is always communications. (Roger slippery weasel we read over?)
Not too long ago I was lambasted for pointing out the impending implosion of the democratic party. Well now that it’s happening in the open where are those die hard supporters? Those “we won the election we write the law” supporters?

A merely good article cannot effect this silent eloquence from critics unless it isn’t good, but great. Choice of video/picture support for your perceptions about how the executive branch is busying itself doesn’t leave a lot of room for even a mediocre student of history to find cover.
What manner of citizen can look back and remember days of freedom and not marvel at how much of it has disappeared? With the fresh specter of your facts and images, one cannot help but be discomforted and fraught with recriminations for letting vigilance lapse long enough for this nightmare to appear on the horizon. We’ve allowed a nightmare to come upon us in our national sleep that is intensely foreign to the expectations of traditional Democrats and Republicans. Mainstream Americans Left AND Right are caught in the ‘outrageous fortune’ of a crossfire between extreme religious and ideological factions at the reins of both parties.

It will take some time to find it, but I posted an article shortly after Obama was elected cautioning to watch for formation of some kind of police or militia group answerable to the executive branch that would be separate from other, established law enforcement organizations.
History show that most up and coming dictators have organized their own special police who operate with special authority and report only to the dictator.
I expected more of a organizing effort like with youth though. This SEIU group is something I overlooked as only agents of agitation without longer term plans for them.
