While the Obama girls have only been in Washington for only a few months they sure seem to be enjoying their new home in Washington.Malia, 10, and sasha, 7, had spent time today with their father.The president and his daughters had gone out today to visit The Dairy Godmother, an ice cream parlor in the Del Ray section of Alexandria.
Malia had a waffle cone of vanilla custard, Sasha had a cup of Vanilla custard, while the president had a cup of Vanilla custard with hot fudge and toasted almonds.
While the Obamas departed, they left with a big applause from staff and patrons.The Obamas took home a bag of frozen ” puppy pops” for the first dog Bo.
