Surprise, surprise, surprise!
For the first time in our history we got us a retired president turned into a job Bill. ‘N he ain’t even his OWN job Bill. All along, we the public, was thinkin’ that our brand spankin’ almost new President Ohbadahbeebahadabama was fixin’ to sport some kind of legislation to make more jobs for idle workers and that it was sure enough gonna get called an ‘Obama Jobs Bill.’ We had no idea it would end up bein’ a retired president hisself!
Well, Shazaam! did he ever fool us! He must have figured all along to trot ol’ Bill out to help folks get jobs .
What a smart move to get somebody who already done showed us how good he was at making jobs happen back when he was in the oval office! Whoddah been better for these times of dire need?
But, who’dah ever thunk that the Obahdabeebadabama’s job Bill was goin’ to be offering jobs to folks who already have them?
Hmm, now after thinkin’ on it, maybe I ain’t bein’ fair. After all, if Congressman Sestak takes Senator Specter’s job, the ol’ boy would be unemployed! It ain’t like Sestak can comfort him with busy work like Secretary of State or somethin’!
Ol’ Arlen would probably get maximum on unemployment. Them Senators up on the hill makes pretty good pay for not havin’ a union.
Well, that just touches my heart. Here we got us a president who’s busy as the ‘one armed wallpaper hanger with his finger in a dike’ and he’s takin’ the time to look out for an old guy ’bout to lose his job.
How does he do it? Why there’s leaks everywhere! Congressmen are leakin’ at the mouth, oil wells a leakin’ into the gulf, the borders got a real gusher goin’ on. Then there’s the folks we gotta be careful ’bout callin’ names cause they might commence to blowin’ more of us up and such! Mercy sakes alive, why wouldn’t Ol’ Barack ask a big-time job expert for a little help?
Let’s be reasonable about this! After all, we’all got feelin’s ain’t we?

I expect that dog to appear where he least expects to wag it. Foresight isn’t his talent any more than it was George III’s. He and the other elitists in Congress are too distracted trying to centralize power in the executive branch while there is still time.
If this bribery pattern produces any goods, we can expect to see them making desperate power grabs on the way to the bunker.

But like I was saying, the Israel crisis can’t get here soon enough! That’ll boost American loyalty to the Commander in Chief and get some of these bothersome (some impeachable) stories off the front page.
