Consti here in the Bunker Memory division with some research on the use of hate in political rhetoric and protests. Now much noise lately has been given to the racial issue in politics. Some have cried foul at the Republicans for a supposedly leaked memo. So let’s take a look at the jaded history of the Democrats when it comes to the use of hate speech.
William Jefferson Clinton said of Barak Hussein Obama this; “former President Bill Clinton said the Obama campaign was “feeding” the news media to keep issues of race alive.” Billy boy also said this; “a few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee,” For those of you who have an accurate memory William Jefferson Clinton was dubbed “The first black President.” It’s all part of a strategy that is too common, but I will get to that in a moment.
Then there is our pal Harry Reid who got a pass from Obama and Michelle for a comment Reid made calling then-presidential candidate Barack Obama “light-skinned” and “with no Negro dialect” Of course Obama waved his hand in a friendly gesture and “forgave” Reid of the infraction. No racial or “beer summit” needed of course. Old Harry is just a good ol’ boy Democrat. Yet in 2002 Senator Obama called for Trent Lott’s ouster for his racial comments.
“Some Americans have not gotten over the fact that Obama is president of the United States. They go to sleep wondering, ‘how did this happen?‘“Good old Charlie Rangel. Mr. Rangel would have us believe that an African-American’s election to the presidency, made possible in large part by millions of white supporters, translates into racist opposition to health care legislation — or into Mr. Rangel’s being unfairly charged with tax dodging. There was also this little gem from Charlie’s nut factory in relation to Obama; “Make certain he doesn’t run around East Harlem unidentified.” We know what Charlie is fishing for with his race bait.
Then there is the Democratic Party as a whole trying to label any dissent as racist or terrorists. As far as the charge that these rallies are composed of Nazis and terrorists, that’s hard to reconcile with the pictures of participants. There are too many young children and grandparents. Further, even a strong Obama supporter like Susan Roesgen didn’t turn up any violent types at the Chicago Tea Party, despite her best attempt to provoke a strong reaction.
Here are a slew of others the Democrats would have you ignore.
“I’m not going to use the federal government’s authority deliberately to circumvent the natural inclination of people to live in ethnically homogeneous neighborhoods. . . . I have nothing against a community that’s made up of people who are Polish or Czechoslovakian or French-Canadian or blacks who are trying to maintain the ethnic purity of their neighborhoods.”
–Jimmy Carter, 1976
President, 1977-81
Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, 2002
“The Confederate Memorial has had a special place in my life for many years. . . . There were many, many times that I found myself drawn to this deeply inspiring memorial, to contemplate the sacrifices of others, several of whom were my ancestors, whose enormous suffering and collective gallantry are to this day still misunderstood by most Americans.”
–James Webb, 1990
Now a Democratic Senator from Virginia
“Everybody likes to go to Geneva. I used to do it for the Law of the Sea conferences and you’d find these potentates from down in Africa, you know, rather than eating each other, they’d just come up and get a good square meal in Geneva.”
–Sen. Ernest F. Hollings (D., S.C.) 1993
Chairman, Commerce Committee, 1987-95 and 2001-03
Candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, 1984
“You cannot go into a Dunkin’ Donuts or a 7-Eleven unless you have a slight Indian accent.”
“My state was a slave state. My state is a border state. My state has the eighth largest black population in the country. My state is anything [but] a Northeastern liberal state.”
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African American [Barack Obama] who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy.”
“There’s less than 1% of the population of Iowa that is African American. There is probably less than 4% or 5% that is, are minorities. What is it in Washington? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you’re dealing with.”
Sen. Joseph Biden Jr., (D., Del.), 2006-07
Chairman, Committee on the Judiciary, 1987-95
Chairman, Committee on Foreign Relations
Candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, 2008
Blacks “are inferior to the whites in the endowments of both of body and mind.”
–Thomas Jefferson, 1787
Co-founder of the Democratic Party (along with Andrew Jackson)
President, 1801-09
America has a special shame when it comes to racists or racism. Despite the fact the other countries to this day still have slave labor. And well after the founding of our country slaves were still sold on the world market. Most races had slaves including the African tribes if you know your history. Yet we as a people are meant to feel a special shame for this? Despite the fact that a white majority nation has elected a black President?
Race is used as a special club to beat political opponents with. It’s meant to be used as a means to shame us into silence. All the while hate is used to celebrate the death of a political opponent, or cancer is wished upon them (myself included). This is a method of hate that has trickled down into the population in a disgusting play of partisan political politics. There are those out there who will dance the day Dick Cheney has a fatal heart attack. But make a disparaging remark about Obama and you are evil.
It’s not that the American public deserves the tax cheats, and race card players in elected office. It’s that the public is so tied up in the game themselves that they can’t see the forest for the trees.
Ok class test time. Tell me what these things have in common.
African Americans
Asian Americans
Latin Americans
White Americans
If you said Americans move to the head of the class. If you want an end to racial politics remember class you are ALL AMERICANS.
Start acting like it.
“But Consti we took advantages of those people in our past!” Yes OUR PAST. One should learn from history, but not dwell upon it. We don’t use Asians to build rail road’s exclusively any more. We don’t use slaves to pick our cotton either. It’s about time those who race bait grow up and realize they raised a younger generation that is color blind. So deal with it. I suggest you all Google this term for more information; “racist history of the democratic party”.
Never have I been so proud to be a turquoise American.
Consti.

Consti,
I linked your excellent well researched article to one who where the author is looking for racists to brand, hopefully your work will give her plenty of ammunition for her next hit piece. Hopefully some of the racist you referenced are overweight, she seems to take particular delight is persecuting the heavier racist among us.

I hate this article.
It’s anti-unAmerican.
And lets not forget the 20 years Obama spent sleeping the pews of the church run by the racist Rev Wright. Supposidly never hearing a racist comment come from the man. Guess Obama didn’t pay attention in church huh?
