I was against it before I was for it!

Let them eat food stamps!!

by Consti Tution on August 6, 2010

Greetings! Consti here in the Secret Underground Bunker kitchen where I’m whipping up a heaping serving of my extra special recession casserole for the staff. For those of you curious enough to wonder at the ingredients here they are.

1 can of food stamps.
1 Can of vacations.
1 Pound of voter’s flesh.
¼ tbsp. of unemployment.
A dash of arrogant spending.
Season to taste.
(Feeds approximately 40.8 Million)

1 can of food stamps.

That’s right kids it feeds 40.8 Million and by 2011 it will feed a projected 43.3 Million. I’m talking about the 19% rise since 2009 of people on Food Stamps! 19% in A SINGLE YEAR SINCE OBAMA WAS ELECTED! Participation has set records for 18 straight months!! Hmm… 18 months since the President was elected, 27 year high for joblessness, $14 gazillion in federal debt. Anyone else see a pattern of government enslavement here? Let’s take a closer look at the rest of the ingredients shall we?

1 Can of vacations.

As you may or may not be aware Michelle Obama and her youngest is on vaykay (again!) in Spain. Now I’m sure every American can afford in these tough times to vacation in Spain at a 5 star resort while taking 40 of their closest cronies…I mean friends taking up 70 rooms which include secret service details. Never mind that her traveling in the U.S. would help the economy. Or that she shilled for people to vaykay in the Gulf while the first family spent time recently in Main. By the end of summer the Obama family will have enjoyed 8 (eight) holidays including the upcoming trips to Martha’s Vineyard later this month. It’s no wonder a recent article called her a modern day “Marie Antoinette” By the end of the trip to the posh Spanish Villa (Estimated room rate per night? Up to a staggering $2,500. ) $375,000 TAX PAYER DOLLARS will have been spent! Now some (like press secretary Robert Gibbs) will tell you that this is a personal trip and therefore the Obama’s are spending their own money on it. This is false since the cost of Air Force 2 and the secret service detail alone are overwhelming. Add to that the fact that when in office the first family has NO access to their personal accounts as it poses a risk. So this is all being footed by us the tax payer. Sacrifice is something that many Americans are becoming all too familiar with during this economic downturn. It was a key theme in President Obama‘s inaugural address to the nation, and he’s referenced it numerous times when lecturing the country on how to get back on its feet. Apparently everyone but the first family has to make that sacrifice however. This isn’t taking into account the parties, the concerts at the White House, the $100,000 dollar date night in New York, flying Bo the first mongrel in a separate jet to vaykay in Maine, or the 200 some plus rounds of Golf the President has enjoyed while in office.

1 Pound of voter’s flesh.

The recent ruling by a homosexual judge over turning the votes of 7 Million California voters in the Proposition 8 (same sex marriage) issue coupled with the DOJ suing the State of Arizona in an unconstitutional manner (Article III, Sec. 2, clause 2  of the constitution says: In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction.) has left the American public wondering if they have a voice in their government any more. Exasperating this issue is the forcing of Obamacare down the American public’s throat. 60% of the American population supports Arizona, and 70% of California voters support the ban on gay marriage. Yet an activist judge and an activist Attorney General have ridden roughshod over the will of the American public. How long do you think it will take the DOJ to sue Missouri over their recent law nullifying the requirement to purchase healthcare under the Obamacare law? 72.6 percent of voters supported the Health Care Freedom Act, also known as Proposition C but if recent history tells us anything this will be crushed by the DOJ as “unconstitutional.” Meanwhile the DOJ takes NO LEGAL ACTION against sanctuary cities that thumb their nose at federal immigration laws. Constitution and will of the people be damned!!

¼ tbsp. of unemployment.

The stimulus, Obamacare, and a host of other legislation were supposed to create jobs. We were PROMISED with the stimulus that unemployment wouldn’t go past 8% according to Obama. Well folks we are at 9.5% down from a high of 10%. In July we lost another 131,000 nonfarm jobs. Only 71,000 private-sector jobs were added last month while 143,000 temporary workers on the 2010 census were let go. Real unemployment (counting those who no longer are looking for work or are working temp jobs) stands at about 17%. Yet this is the “summer of recovery” according to Obama and Biden? If this is recovery then an anorexic supermodel is fat!!

A dash of arrogant spending.

Stimulus, bailouts, White House concerts, and all the rest of that aside there is SO MUCH more stupid spending being done by this government. I’ll give you just a taste of this ingredient and leave you to sample what came out of the Stimulus package.

Congress’ Food Tab: $604,000 for Bottled Water, $152 at Quiznos. According to the documents, Democrat Gregorio Sablan, the first-ever House delegate for the Northern Mariana Islands, spent more on food than any other legislator, racking up a tab of $23,457.

Last year alone, the State Department sent taxpayers tabs totaling nearly $300,000 for alcoholic beverages — about twice as much compared to the previous year, according to an analysis of spending records by The Washington Times.

Sprucing up the State Department where a British Comedian was able to walk around in for an hour with a fake press pass.

Not to mention funding a study for coked up monkeys!

Season to taste.

So let me ask you a serious question. How does that “hope and change” taste to you? Have you had enough of the Recession casserole? Are you ready to take a taste of what America was and should be like? Are you ready to play the role of food critic come November?

Bon appetite!
