Consti coming to you from the virtual reality lab here in the Bunker. I’ve been running scenarios of a perfect world where everything is fair and just. Needless to say attempts have failed miserably. I’m not surprised at the results because reality is not virtual.
A lot of progressives live in a form of virtual reality. They talk about a Nirvana where one man’s money takes care of another man’s problems. Or where everything is just, fair, equal, and no room for greatness is allowed. Because then you would be better than everyone else. And that’s not fair now is it? Now a lot of these types cry and moan about “if only” the public were as noble and thoughtful as they were there would be no suffering. GET OVER IT! The human animal is a flawed creature by nature and will never live up to the expectations of the progressive left. It’s an illusion. And I question the motivations behind this “dream world” since it basically wipes freedoms off the map.
To this twisted Nirvana I say… cow pies!
Live in the real world kids! It’s much more fun than this supposed perfect world where there is no injustice or strife. There is also no creativity or excellence. Since logically that goes against the thought that everyone is the same. This dream world can be summed up into one word.
Mediocrity.
This Nirvana, this “perfect little circle” goes against what the progressive liberal government is already trying to do. So why should we buy into the smoke and mirrors? Who really wants to pay for the ticket just to see the dog and pony show? Let’s take a preview of this perfect world in the actions currently being performed by this administration and congress.

HAHAHA! Traffic cameras, security cameras, citizens who think they are journalists, nosy neighbors, etc. But besides all that there was a great deal of noise about the Patriot Act and its invasive wire taps. Bush took a BEATING over the Patriot Act. Now Obama’s administration is sounding more and more like “Bush light” since the Obama Admin wants to track cell phones; ‘No reasonable expectation of privacy’ is the reason he has given. And they claim it doesn’t infringe on the fourth amendment rights. This means that any phone is subject to eavesdropping of some kind. Be it your GPS location or your text messages. Every time you walk out in public your picture is taken somewhere by someone and you have NO control over it as it stands right now. Now they want to publicize your text messages too. So be warned ladies NEVER have a bad hair day.
“In a perfect world everyone pays their ‘fair share’ of taxes”
Non-elected government employees owe the Federal Government 3.3 Billion dollars in back taxes AND CAN NOT BE FIRED FOR IT! Charlie Wrangle, Tim Geithner, and a host of other ELECTED officials have been caught cheating on their taxes. And have gotten off SCOTT FREE! But the average citizen (ask Wesley Snipes) is hounded by the IRS and threatened with imprisonment. In the same breath these compassionate progressives talk noise about the “burden” on the lower class of new taxes that should only really be paid by the greedy rich. Because we all know that NO rich person worked hard to earn their money. And that NO rich person is morally obliged to donate to the needy. Eat the rich kids because they are juicy and a good source of potassium!
“In a perfect world everyone has the RIGHT to succeed.”
HAHA! Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are not given out by the government. You have to EARN it. How do you earn your happiness? Something they don’t teach in schools anymore since it’s not fair and it’s called HARD WORK. Most people don’t like HARD WORK. It’s too much a hassle to ask someone to learn a trade and then go out and improve upon that skill. It’s not fair that someone who can’t grasp neural surgery can’t be a Neural Surgeon! I mean just because someone can’t understand computers doesn’t mean they can’t be a programmer. I once had an employee tell me “I shouldn’t have to know computers to do my job.” He was a CADD Drafter. CADD = COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTING. Hello! No it’s much easier for someone to disable success in order to keep “everyone on a level playing field.” It’s a crock.
“But Consti it’s SUPPOSED to be fair!” Wake up kiddies! Life isn’t fair! Nowhere in the constitution does it say it has to be fair! Nowhere in the constitution are you guaranteed any measure of success. You are given the opportunity to find that success for yourself. But first you have to get off your lazy kiester and make it happen. I know it’s a lot to ask of someone that they actually make something of themselves. But it’s been that way since we first stood upright as a species. Do you think it was fair that homo-sapiens took advantage of Cro-Magnon and made us?
So the next time you hear politicians talk about this progressive Nirvana just remember virtual reality is not reality. And that Nirvana means you are not better than anyone else. Except the progressives know better than you how you should live your life.

Another enlightening and “fun to read” article!

According to a news report yesterday the Obama administrations council on the deficit will not take hiking taxes on the middle class off the table. And since they are letting the Bush tax cuts expire taxes WILL go up. It’s a stealth tax at this point.
It’s true. Progressives so often talk about taxing the rich (even though many of them are among the richest, consequently proving it is just jibberish to win votes) – those who have worked hard to achieve the American Dream and many who supply tons of jobs – which is simply just punishment of those who succeed. Most people don’t seem to realize two things, however:
(1) Taxation of the rich job-creators eventually trickles down to them;
(2) Most rich people know how to legally protect their money and make it largely untouchable.
