Consti here with some questions for all of you good folks. Where are all the cheerleaders at now?

I’m not talking about the pom-pom wielding, silicone flopping, local sports team, females that accompany them. No, I am talking about the members of the Press and blog-o-sphere who were in a frenzy about the ascension of “the one.” Remember this:

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P36x8rTb3jI

Where are these people now? The ones who claimed I was “insane” to predict the implosion of the Democratic Party. Where are they now? Even the very liberal Bill Maher is attacking Obama. Could it be that the love fest is over? (I don’t think I’ll hold my breath for that one.)

The complicit MSM has been forced to start asking tough questions about the administration’s response to the BP mess and Sestak scandal. (Tough as in softballs as opposed to beach balls mind you.) The funny thing to me is the reasons I have heard for this and other Obama problems seems to be George W. Bush, BP, Halliburton, citizens who “don’t understand”, Republicans, basically anyone BUT Obama. Then there’s Gibbs reprimanding the press for asking too many questions. Seriously?

Now dub-ya hasn’t been around for over a year and a half, but already he has ruined the economy, ruined job creation, caused the BP oil spill, (Remember kids it’s NOT Obama’s Katrina in ANY way!) and broke up Al and tipper Gore.

CBS News: “It’s been ten years since that oddly public passionate kiss at the Democratic convention. That was followed by Gore winning the popular vote for President but losing the electoral vote. Family friend Sally Quinn says that may have done the marriage irreparable harm.”

So let me repeat that for you. George Walker Bush is the cause of Al and Tipper Gore’s divorce according to CBS. Eat that Jerry Springer wannabes!!

(Al Gore’s new pickup line should be: “I’ve got a HUGE carbon footprint! Wanna see?”)

I’ve asked this question of our liberal readers, commenters, and bloggers several times but I will ask it again since none seem to have the will to answer. When the Democratic Party implodes under its own follies will they still blame Bush?

What’s really telling is when someone like Spike Lee is out there parroting Maher telling Obama to “go off!” They all talk about how Obama needs to be more like candidate Obama in rhetorically prodding the people to action. (Something about “busting a cap” in them in reference to the Peace Prize winner Obama.) The problem is there is nothing he or anyone in this administration can do. In fact the plan that was developed for just this situation was NEVER IMPLEMENTED! So how is Obama going out to “rev up the crowd” going to stop the flow of oil? It won’t.

Ladies and Gentlemen the Democratic Party is eating its own. The Sestak issue and now Colorado Dem Romanoff making the same claims! (Once is a shame, twice a coincidence, three times is a pattern.) What was done in the Sestak issue is against the law and if Romanoff turns out to be the same then we are looking at high crimes and misdemeanors the like of which will make Watergate seem like a speeding ticket. This from “the most transparent administration in history.” It was sure “transparent” of the White House to investigate itself and proclaim “nothing happened.” If this was GWB there would be hearings on the hill for the next century. But do you honestly think Eric “sue BP”/”terrorists rights”/”never read the racist law in AZ”/”free new black panthers” Holder will prosecute? If you are holding your breath I suggest you don’t.

Even Democrats running in the mid-terms are avoiding Obama like the slutty girl in school who has herpes. Several incumbent democrats facing re-election would rather cut off their face than have “the one” stump for their re-election. Including Sestak! Obama’s support has become the literal “kiss of death” that Chicago politics is. (Perhaps these incumbents are not willing to fall on their sword a second time.)

So where are his cheerleaders? Those people who said he could walk on water and heal the planet?

The Presidential approval rating has plummeted faster than any president in history. Currently it stands at 46% approve.  Where are the supporters calling the Sestak, Romanoff, Blaggo, Rezieko, investigations shams? Where are the supporters shouting that the Republican Party is responsible for Obama’s administration playing Chicago style politics? Where are the administration officials calling for investigations of these allegations?

Insert crickets chirping here…

Let me ask you these questions. Is this the hope and change you voted for? Did you not vote for and weren’t you promised a change in the typical influence peddling in Washington? Were you voting for Obama or Richard J. Daily’s Chicago political machine? Did you vote for someone who would roll up their sleeves and do the peoples work? Or did you vote for someone who plays more golf in a year than Bush did in 8? (Currently he has played more golf than Tiger Woods!) Do you still have that tingly feeling in your leg that Chris Matthews told you was there? (He also compared Obama to Jesus mind you.)

Do you feel that you were fooled into talking the blue pill?

Insert crickets chirping here…

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. The Democratic Party is imploding on its own foundation. A foundation that is not rooted in the realities of everyday life but instead a foundation that is more interested in “if only” instead of “what is.” A foundation yearning for a utopia that is as blatantly ignorant of its limitations as it is of its accomplishments. At this point I will refer you to the article I wrote “It’s just not fair.”

Conservatives are poo-poo headed meanies that don’t accept the good intentions of the left or understand the need for conforming to their superior view of the “new normal.” (That’s not taking into account conservatives and their pagan baby eating ways.) As the White House has said “they just don’t understand.” Well Mr. Gibbs we understand all too well. Perhaps we understand too well for your boss’s liking. Political cronyism is Political cronyism no matter your party affiliation. And since you were so vociferous in condemning the last administration for doing it I don’t think you should be too shocked when the American public calls you on the carpet for doing the same thing. Your boss Mr. Gibbs promised the country the most transparent and ethical administration this country would ever see.

What we got was Chicago politics.

If you are going to set yourself up to be Superman you had better be able to fly homie.

Consti,

I have. Let’s enjoy our little blip on the net while we can. I would’ve said, theres no way Obama and company could take over what they have, yet here we are, the impact yet to seen. Pray or chant your ass off my Hindu friend, we are in for dark times if a hero is not found.

While I won’t argue your valid points I will remind you that a President OF PRINCIPAL would be able to undo the harm that has been done. Anyone can see that the Dems are making a desperate grab at power for anything they can. If you really want fear take a look at the suggestions the FCC put fort about propping up the 4th estate. THAT is truly frightful… Free speech is and will be their next target.

Consti,

This is why I visit this site every day, entertainingly great thought pieces of the quality that the WSJ and the NYT pay dearly.

I have some disagreement however. Maybe less disagreement, more a caveat.

I think they may have been taken by surprise by the events that have grieved them, but, they knew they had “one” chance to change our country. One chance, and a half chance. They knowing sacrificed their majority in Congress at mid-terms in order to take over health care, as much industry and financials as possible, knowing that these are things like entitlements, they cannot be easily reversed, and they would hold the Executive, and hopefully the Judicial for the next two years.

Once in control, how often does the government give the power back to the people.

Consti, I see a much darker plan. And we have to recognize, while we can turn back the tax rate, we can never ferret out or cut off the blood supply to the private industry the government has established without the death of the limbs where the supply has been made crucial.

Remember when an aspirin cost the hospital 1 cent, and they charged the patient 75 cents? Then when the government made health care their concern, the aspirin suddenly showed up as a unreadable code on a unreadable bill and cost $8.00.

To try and turn that back, our entire health care industry would collapse for everyone.

That’s what I see happening to financial institutions, great portions of the private sector manufacturing, and our tax systems.

Just look at the blood flow that has been established between the IRS and healthcare! Government control of board members of our largest Financial Institutions, and 2/3 of our car manufacturing. They have BOUGHT at a great price the eternal “do or die” loyalty of all unions and government employees.

It is a dark hole we are rapidly falling down, with a Mad Hatter that will meet us at the other end.
