Et tu Brute?

Consti here in the Bunker theater where the staff and I were watching a history channel documentary on Julius Caesar the Roman Emperor last night. (By a unanimous vote we skipped the President’s snooze fest of a speech.) This morning after catching up on the commentary in the MSM all I can say is…

“Et tu Brute?”

Anyone who knows history (so that’s anyone NOT in the public school system currently) will know that the last dagger strike into Caesar’s back was made by his best friend. Today, the MSM has taken the role of Brutus to Obama’s Caesar.

During the election my favorite news caster Chris Matthews had this to say about Obama.

Today of course is a different matter entirely. Here are some highlights for you.

Olbermann: “It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days.”
Matthews compared Obama to Carter.
Olbermann: “Nothing specific at all was said.”
Matthews: “No direction.”
Howard Fineman: “He wasn’t specific enough.”
Olbermann: “I don’t think he aimed low, I don’t think he aimed at all. It’s startling.”
Howard Fineman: Obama should be acting like a “commander-in-chief.”
Matthews: Ludicrous that he keeps saying [Secretary of Energy] Chu has a Nobel prize. “I’ll barf if he does it one more time.”
Matthews: “A lot of meritocracy, a lot of blue ribbon talk.”
Matthews: “I don’t sense executive command.”

Even John Stewart got into the act. Let’s face it when you lose the fake news then you have lost it for good. (The linked clip is a LAUGH RIOT!)

“Et tu Matthews?” “Et tu Olbermann?”

The there is the leftist L.A. Times article.

And the polls aren’t much comfort for the Ass Kicker-n-chief.

“Overall only 32% of Louisianans approve of how Obama has handled the spill to 62% who disapprove. 34% of those polled say they approved of how Bush dealt with Katrina to 58% who disapproved.” So Obama is actually MORE disappointing than Bush was in a disaster! Wasn’t it Obama who said during the campaign;

Is it me or did Obama say the SAME thing about “doing whatever it takes for how long it takes” in his speech last night that he bashes Bush for in the clip above?

“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 24% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20.”

If memory serves me correctly GWB was at 42% after 8 YEARS not 18 months. Even members of Obama’s own party are avoiding him like the plague.

“Et tu Democrats?”

Why is it you poo-poo headed, stubborn, “Clinging to your guns and bible”, tea-party, violent, terrorist, evil mongers, don’t understand that the President WANTS to feel your pain? (Where’s Billy Boy Clinton when you REALLY need him?) He can’t help it if the Chicago political machine burned out his tear ducts and shrank his heart 3 sizes that day! It’s just more of you silly Americans not understanding the fundamental change he wants to bring to this country!

I wrote an article just recently asking where the Obama cheerleaders were today called “Hero or Nero.” I guess now we know.
