Answer to Bomb Scare: Part 2 – Naked Scanners Coming to an Airport Near You

On December 28th, I chimed in about the foiled terrorist attack on the Christmas Flight 253. I mentioned how I thought that, at the very least, even if this wasn’t a set up, the government would exploit the situation to tear down our freedoms yet one more level by further infringing on our privacy.

First, there are 150 more naked (aka full body) scanners on the way to airports around the globe. “So what?” you may ask. “It isn’t any worse than the dreaded pat down!” Whether or not we agree or disagree on the technique, it is still crystal clear to me that the overriding intention is to control and keep tabs on the public. And, as I do more and more research, there is less and less anyone can say to convince me otherwise. If you wish, take a few minutes to view this.

The timing of this ordeal is also quite interesting. Since the Orwellian Patriot Act is up for renewal in a couple of weeks, it is now likely that it will not only pass, but unanimously so. Read into this situation as you will but, once again, there is already a larger stack of questions than answers. And the way it looks, it will grow disproportionally by the day unless there are enough people with backbone who will choose to stand up and demand these answers.

The 2012 Presidential Election is fast approaching

The White House

The GOP race is now a field of 4 with only Romney, Gingrich, Paul, & Santorum still standing. Who will be the next candidate to exit the race & who will emerge as the eminent GOP nominee?
