And so it begins…

Consti here coming to you from the Bunker communications center where we are shining the light on the coming 2010 shenanigans which have already started. 2010 will probably be the most important mid-term in the last 2 decades and already the MSM has begun it’s attack on anything conservative or Republican. This is to be expected from the Media as they will pull all the stops this year to ensure that the Progressive Liberal machine stays in power.

Take for example this Snoozeweek article and how it is written. First it’s about Haley Barbour which should give everyone a blast from the past. In a desperate attempt to resurrect the old Liberal Progressive play book the article starts out with; “Could a wealthy, white, well-connected southerner really grow up to be president? Haley Barbour can’t wait to find out.” UGH! Old, rich, white men are trying to destroy America. If Progressives had an original thought cross their minds it would be the fastest trip in North America. But the article continues with;

“The Republican governor of Mississippi keeps a large portrait of the University Greys, the Confederate rifle company that suffered 100 percent casualties at Gettysburg, on a wall not far from a Stars and Bars Confederate flag signed by Jefferson Davis. Then there’s the man himself. Rather than walking across the street from his office to the state capitol, he rides a hundred or so yards in the back seat of a large SUV, air conditioning on full blast.”

So not only is he a rich, old, white man he’s also a member of the Clan and environmentally negligent? Please! It’s not about the man himself it’s about portraying him as a privileged old, white, rich guy who is also a bigot, planet killer. Remember kids as the Buddhists teach “reality is perception”. And the MSM has started early by trying to make this man the face of the Republican Party.

Now let’s step back for a minute and ask ourselves how this would sound if it were written about Obama. Would it go something like this?

“The Democratic President keeps a picture of the racist Reverend Wright on his wall next to a Black Panthers flag hanging in his office. The Black Panthers, a group that was found to have infringed on voting rights yet was pardoned by the Attorney General after having been successfully prosecuted for the crime. Then there is the man himself who is a dirty smoker and only served two years in congress voting ‘present’ more than yay or neigh on legislation.”

Not very flattering of our President is it? And that kid’s is the point of this exercise. I believe its number 8 in the progressives play book of personal destruction. Or should we call it what it really is, character assassination? Look to see more of this as the year wears on and the so called “tea party” brings to the front American anger at the institutions of government. Because you know little old grandmas are THE real threat to our nation. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

Desperation is thick in the air as any straw will be grasped at to portray anything non-Democrat as rich, old, white, power hungry men try to take over the world and eat babies. As the year progresses to the November elections remember the lessons of Alynski. For they will be brought to bear with full force against anything that is not the establishment. If one is to play by the rules one has to know the rules. And I think it has become clear what the Rules are. Don’t fight them on policy, fight them on personality. Personally I think it’s about time we played by their rules and see how they like it. Fair is fair after all.

Taking my ball and playing to win.

Consti has written 85 awesome articles for us.

I was born and raised in two places. The Midwest and the west coast. You can say I have a mid-west core with a west-coast mentality. I was a Cub Scout, a Boy Scout, A Scout Leader, and a volunteer so I learned my civic duty at an early age. Well before mandated school curriculum required me to. Long before a sitting President made it "cool" and definitely before he "required" it of us. I am a product of the Public Screwl System!! I am like you a citizen of the U.S. I get up, go to work, come home, kiss the fiance pet my cats, have dinner, play Xbox, love the fiance, and go to bed. I pay my taxes, my healthcare, my car payment, rent, power, and the rest of my bills just like you. The difference you might ask is I use my voice to bring to light the corruption, hypocrisy, greed, graft, miss-management, and utter shenanigans of the government in power. Who so ever that should be. Like the late great Mark Twain, I am for the country, not it's institutions. I am for the Constitution, not the talking heads on T.V. I am for the people of this great country, not the power structure that is. The truth my friends is an ugly thing. However, only the truth will set you free. So look upon the face of the beast with me and laugh my friends. For that is what the face of truth requires. Humor. The reason I blog about politics and our American society is it is my way of participating in the dialog and democratic process that is our Republic. I urge all of you reading this to play your part in our society and make your voice heard. Which ever side of the political spectrum you are on. The government is not the boss, you the public are. Make use of it. I hope you find something here that makes you smile or laugh. If you do then I have done my job. If you find something here that makes you think or change your mind then I am truly blessed. Either way my friend let's buy the ticket and take the ride as Hunter S. Thompson said so eloquently.

Consti,

Just read your article today, spot on! Haley, are they kidding! That article was a masterpiece in transparent Platoism.

I disagree on only one point. This election is the most important mid-term (maybe all term) in our lifetime. If this crowd stays in power there may be no 2012 election.

Sorry it takes me so long to get back on the great articles here, I am very busy trying to keep my family in our home. These libs are causing a toxic ecomony. If stress causes greenhouse gas, my carbon footprint can be seen from space!
