This is a crucial year for elections, this will set the tone for the next couple of years in Washington, D.C. Who gets elected in November can affect who controls the Senate and Congress. There is tension already between the main political parties but there are other politicians who have jumped parties lines to become affiliated with another party such as Charlie Crist from Florida who has recently announced he’s becoming an Independent to run for the Senate. Of course, Charlie Crist is the Florida governor and Republican. Steve Levy, a Democrat from Long Island, New York has announced his intentions to run for Governor of New York against Andrew Como in November. He was also a Democrat and announced he was going to run as a Republican. Of course, we have Joe Lieberman of Connecticut who several years ago became an Independent after running as Vice-President in 2000 with Al Gore. This November’s elections can set the tone for how things are going to be run in our nation’s capital. It should be interesting to see how things pan out. Even in their own political parties there is commiserating amongst themselves. For example, Michael McMahon, Democrat Congressman from New York voted against the Health Care Reform Bill leaving his fellow party members in a tizzy and feeling he was a trader. His argument is it wouldn’t be in the best interest of the constituents in his district. Enough said. When November rolls around it should be interesting on how voters decide who they want representing them in Washington, D.C. or the capitol of their own states. As for me, I’ll be in a New York state of mind.

BB,
One thing is for sure, America MUST vote “For Change”, Yes We Must.
Obama has delivered Change. Intensifying and expanding all things government. From the Patriot Act to IRS police power enforcement of healthcare forced purchase. Using the federal courts to deny the will of the people of a sovereign state, cutting military, increasing welfare, spending away the lives of our children and grandchildren. Empowering and enriching unions and government workers at the expense of lesser Americans. Changing a free press to government sycophants or tax smaller channels to enrich said sycophants, classifying or hiding how government works, forcing through bribery or political extortion all things socialist. The list of changes is chilling and endless.
Who will bring change now? The irreparable damages are many, changes on the horizon? Weaker military, gutted self sustaining energy, coal and oil/gas, complete control over private business, and so on.
The Republicans? Spineless nay-sayers fixated on entrenched positions and self sustaining power, regardless of the costs.
Yeah, November will be interesting, like watching a car accident. The only question will be how many of our rights will survive.
Oh yes! November will be Very interesting indeed!
